ACD Systemtechnik joins the Thuringia National Prize for quality and is placed under the top 3 companys. ACD achieves a certificate for "outstanding effort in quality management" by prime minister Dieter Althaus and minister of economy, technology and labor Jürgen Reinholz.

1991

Karl-Heinz Andes, Johann Bolkart, Fritz Guther and Hartmut Wengel founded the ACD Systemtechnik GmbH in Neustadt on December 5th 1991.

Data acquisition terminals went into series, 500 terminals were sold during the year.

ACD developed a prototype of a data acquisition terminal, based on the microprocessor 1802, and delivered sample devices to customers.

ACD developed the first freely programmable microprocessor control PC2000 based on the microprocessor 6502. The application focal points for the control that went into series production from 1979 were adjustment controls for NC machines and controls for stone processing machines, etc.
